I really enjoyed your article for it perfectly captures my thinking on the topic. Many Christians want to divorce themselves from politics, taking on a “holier than thou” stance, willingly giving the enemy the rope so he can hang us Christians. Rather than say, “Let us fight for the Lord!” they say, “Let us surrender so we can become more holy” as though this will help our Christian cause. Nowhere in scripture do I see a justification for this surrender. It is cowardly and un-Christian at heart and they will be judged for their friendship with the world!
